Summer Scent : Endless Love 3

Yoo Min-Woo's (Song Seung-heon) first love was Seo Eun-Hye (Shin-ae). However, Eun-Hye gets into a car accident and dies. Without Yoo Min-Woo's knowledge, her parents decide to donate her organs. Another character, Shim Hye-Weon (Son Ye-jin) had suffered from a terrible heart disease ever since childhood. Miraculously, she finds that she will be obtaining a heart from a donor, the lately deceased Seo Eun-Hye.

Suffering from the pain of a heartache, Min-Woo goes to Italy to study, with the memories of Eun-Hye still resting in his heart. When he returns to Korea, fate takes a turn and brings Hye-Weon and Min-Woo together. When the two first meet in the airport, Hye-Weon's heart (Eun-Hye's heart), oddly beats faster when she is around Min-Woo.

Park Jeong-Jae (Ryu Jin) is Hye-Weon's fiancee. Jeong-Jae's sister, Park Jeong-Ah (Han Ji Hye) meets Min-Woo in Italy and falls for him.

Hye-Weon doesn't know why or what she feels when she's with Min-Woo. Min-Woo feels guilt towards Eun-Hye, because the feeling of love rises once again as he continues to see Hye-Weon.

Through coincidence, Min-Woo ends up being hired as the Art Director for Jeong-Jae's project "Summer Scent" and Hye-Weon as their florist. Hiding their prior encounter at the forest, they awkwardly said "Hello" as if they first met. During the project, their fondness grew, within Min-Woo's eyes, he saw resemblances between Eun-Hye and Hye-Weon. Hye-Weon, on the other hand, believed that it was fate, her ever pacing heart whenever near Min-Woo. Their fondness for each other soon came under suspicion in the eyes of Jeong-Ah and later, Jeong-Jae. Jeong-Jae decides to turn a blind eye due to his love for Hye-Weon. Now Hye-Weon, confused as to whether her feelings are true, decides to leave Min-Woo and trying to comfort her guilt towards Jeong-Jae and Jeong-Ah, she returns to Jeong-Jae's side.

To forget Hye-Weon, Min-Woo decides to leave for Italy indefinitely but only after seeing her one last time. At her wedding, Min-Woo caught one last glance at her and then left. With Min-Woo near, Hye-Weon's heart gave signs of his presence and soon alerted her gaze towards Min-Woo departing. Desperately chasing after him Hye-Weon collapses.

Min-Woo rushes Hye-Weon to the hospital with Jeong-Jae arriving a little later.Jeong-Jae who is angry at Min-Woo, tells him to leave for Italy. Min-Woo agrees to leave only after Hye-Weon had regained consciousness. Soon, Hye-Weon wakes up and deeply angered Jeong-Jae forbids Min-Woo to meet, ordering him to leave immediately. As a promise to Hye-Weon, Min-Woo agreed to leave if Hye-Weon decides to have her operation. Without it, she would definitely die.

Soon after his arrival in Italy, Min-Woo receives a letter notifying him that Hye-Weon had died during the operation.

3 years later, with memories of Hye-Weon in his heart, Min-Woo returns to Korea as a manager of an Art Centre. During his absence, Hye-Weon had an artificial heart implanted after the initial surgery, and then traveled to the United States for another transplant. On his way up the steps at the Art Centre and on her way down after her delivery, they meet again. This time with her new heart, its abnormal beating notified her of Min-Woo's presence and thus proving their true love.

Stairway To Heaven (천국의 계단)

One of korean drama you should watch for. It's very a tragic-sad love story of two people truly in love.Definitely you'll hate Actress Kim Tae-Hee in these drama, she portrays her character as Yoo-Ri very well.

I stayed late at night just to watched this k-drama even if I had CAT Training at 4:00 AM I still watched it. Haha I remember my teacher in MAPEH yelled at me beacause she caught me sleeping during her class hour haha tee-hee XD.

I also remember buying the same necklace as Kwon Sang-woo give to Choi Ji-woo when he leave to pursue his studies abroad.

She thwarted Jung-suh's attempts to study abroad with Song Joo, who then left to America to study abroad alone. Her stepmother plotted for Yoori, to win the affections of Song Joo. All the while, Jung-suh tried to be nice to her step brother, Tae-Hwa, who mistook this friendship for affection and falls in love with her.

Three years later, Song-joo comes back from America and Jung-suh rushes to greet him. A jealous Yoori (Kim Tae-hee) tries to stop them from reuniting. As they race to the airport, Yoori intentionally runs her over with her car. Jung-suh is taken to the hospital where a group of people had just died in fire. Yoori swaps Jung-suh's ID with one of the people to fake her death. She took the real Jung-suh to her biological father's home. Tae-Hwa, still in love with Jung-suh, finds out what Yoori had done, but saw the accident as a chance to run away with Jung-suh. Jung-suh loses her memory, and Tae-Hwa moves them away and changes their names.

Five years later, Yoori is soon to be engaged to Song Joo. Song Joo decides that he needs to let go of Jung-suh. He goes to the carousel they used to ride as children and whispers a wish to see Jung-suh just once more. He looks up and sees her on the carousel. Jung-suh, now named Ji-soo. Song Joo rushes to Ji-soo and tells her that she is Jung-suh, but she doesn't believe him. Song Joo is determined to make her remember her past and through a series of events, he and Jung-suh become close.

One day, Jung-suh regains her memory when Yoori nearly hits her with her car again. She rushes to tell Song Joo. She forgives Tae-Hwa as she knew he did it out of love. Jung-suh and Song Joo are happy together, until she discovers she has eye cancer. She asks Tae-Hwa to take her away from Song Joo, since she can't bear to see him in pain. Gradually, Jung-suh's vision deteriorates into blindness. Tae-Hwa tells Song Joo and his family the truth. Yoori is arrested and her mother becomes crazy.

Both Song Joo and Tae-Hwa ask a doctor to let them give Jung-suh one of their corneas, but the doctor tells them that they can't take corneas from live donors. Tae-Hwa wants to grant her wish at all costs and commits suicide in order to donate his cornea to her. He creates a car accident to cause his death. After his death, Jung-suh had the operation and is able to see again. However, Song Joo finds out about Tae-Hwa's death and later on tells Jung-suh. Winter Sonata/Winter Love Story/Winter Ballad (겨울연가) : Endless Love 2

As the Endless Love 1 of KBS Network popularly known as Autumn In My Heart hit Philippines one of its Series also invaded the Filipino Television; it is Winter Sonata. The love story of Kang Jun-Sang/Lee Min-Young a.k.a Joseph and Jeong Yu-Jin a.k.a Janice
captures the heart of every filipino audience.

As I one of the avid audience of Winter Sonata I also cried, laughed, and go crazy as the story goes by. Basically, Winter Sonata is a touching story with unforgettable characters. It really plays on the idea of fate (which is still regarded heavily in Asian society), how Jun Sang and Yu Jin were childhood lovers, and that their love prevailed no matter how dire the consequences.

My Favorite Quotations:
"If you're really in love, appearances aren't important. The best house is the one you build in each other's hearts."
- Jung Yu-Jin

"Take a deep look...it is so beautiful in here...why live in the shadow world only with memories."- Min-Hyung to Yu-Jin

"You were just talking to him yesterday and next he's gone! The world doesnt change not even the slightest...but someone is no longer there."- Yu-Jin to Min-Hyung

"Search no more...for the man that i love isn't the one in the memory but the man that's standing right here infront of me."- Yu-Jin to Min-Hyung/Jun-Sang

"I thought he was Jun-Sang, I just took one look and i knew...with just feeling you can tell."
- Sang-Hyuk's father to Yu-Jin

"Let me tell you how to make friends...left foot...right foot...left foot...right foot...slowly step by step."- Yu-Jin to Jun-Sang

"Do you know what is it that i envy sang hyuk the most?... its time!!! the ten years time he spent with you...it is impossible to only move two steps during those times."
- Min-Hyung to Yu-Jin

Synopsis:
The story begins when Jun-Sang, the son of an eminent musician, moves to Chuncheon, a rural city in South Korea. As an extraordinarily talented student, Jun-Sang is welcomed by his fellow students as well as teachers, but remains a quiet, introverted young man. As a result of his belief that his father is dead, as well as conflict with his mother, Jun-Sang believes that no one truly loves him.

One day on the ride to school, Jun-Sang's classmate Yu-Jin interrupts him on the bus. Jun-Sang soon falls in love with Yu-Jin, who opens herself to him with an innocent heart. Their love, however, is cut short after Jun-Sang is involved in a serious auto-accident and, due to brain damage, is unable to recall his past life.

Jun-Sang's mother, desiring Jun-Sang's love and respect, has Jun-Sang brainwashed by a psychologist, so that Jun-Sang will not remember his painful childhood, as an illegitimate child. As a result, Jun-Sang's memories prior to the accident are erased. Jun-Sang's mother decides to move to the United States with Jun-Sang, where he can start a new life under the identity of Yi Min-Hyeong. His friends and teachers are told that Jun-Sang is dead.

Ten years later, Min-Hyeong is an award-winning architect in the United States. He does not remember anything about his life in Korea. He is completely different, an open-minded person who cares about other people, including his mother. He returns to Korea and Yu-Jin sees him on the street, prompting her to put off her engagement to childhood friend Sang-Hyeok. Little does she know that Min-Hyeong is dating her friend and sometime rival Che-Rin. The story's plot intensifies when Yu-Jin begins work at the firm where Min-Hyeong is employed, and tries to find out if he is her lost lover Jun-Sang.

Autumn In My Heart/Autumun Fairy Tale (가을동화): Endless Love

I first see this drama when I was a Sophomore. It was funny though that I had to run fast just to watch the ending of this drama because during those time my school held a field trip at Enchanted Kingdom. I remember screaming at our bus driver to speed up his driving haha whenever I remember this I start laughing, imagine I had to scream just to watch it (poor driver) haha..

Some of My Favorite Quotations:
“My next life I only want to love one person. If that person doesn’t love me, it doesn’t matter, I won’t bother. I just wish that I can see that person everyday.” – Joon-Suh

“It’s times like these that you need to be strong. Let’s stuff ourselves.” – Hyun-Woo
"I want to be reborn as tree, because a tree can put its roots down next to their one true love, so that I never have to be separated from anyone again."
–  Eun-Suh
Synopsis:
Autumn In My Heart also known as Autumn Fairy Tale is the first installment of the four part of Endless Love Drama series produced  by South Korea TV Network or KBS during 2000.

The story begins with toddler, Yoon Joon-Seo accidentally causing the switch of his sister and another baby when he drops the name cards on the two babies cribs in the hospital baby room. A nurse who came in put them back incorrectly. The story then continues with the teenage years of the two main characters: Yoon Joon-Seo (Choi Woo Hyuk) and Yoon Eun-Seo (Moon Geun Young). They are the children of a rich professor and believe they are biologically brother and sister until Eun-Seo gets hit by a truck and needs a blood transfusion. At the beginning, Eun-Seo is very popular in school whereas her rival Choi Shin-Ae (Lee Ae Jung), is smart but does not get the attention she craves from the teacher and their classmates. Later, their situations are reversed when the switch is discovered.

After blood tests were carried out by the doctor on Mr. and Mrs. Yoon for Eun-Seo's transfusion, the Yoons find out that Eun-Seo belongs to Mrs. Choi, and Shin-Ae is the Yoon's biological daughter. At first, only the parents and brother knew about this, but eventually, Shin-Ae discovered the truth after she got into a fierce argument with her non-biological mother over a teddy bear she received from her biological father. Eun-Seo only discovered the truth after Shin-Ae wants her biological parents to take her in. In the end, the two daughters were returned to their rightful parents. Shin-Ae moves in with the Yoon family, and Eun-Seo goes to live with Mrs. Choi (her biological father is dead) who operates a small restaurant living in abject poverty.

Years went by, and in the duration, the Yoon family went to the United States, where Joon-Seo (Song Seung Heon) returns to South Korea as a successful artist. He went back to the town he lived in, where he encountered his old friend, Han Tae-Seok (Won Bin), who stays at the hotel where Eun-Seo (Song Hye Kyo) works as a telephone receptionist. Tae-Seok (who doesn't know about the entire brother and sister mixup that happened earlier) fell in love with Eun-Seo and played games with her until she was fired from her job. One day Eun-Seo saw Joon-Seo and followed him to the beach where he was with Yoo-Mi (his fiancée) and Tae-Seok and the two "siblings" finally meet after ten years.

Eun-Seo and Joon-Seo pretend to have a sibling relationship in front of the others, but they meet each other secretly and become deeply in love, though she always refers to him as "brother." Shin-Ae (Han Chae Young) finds out about their relationship and exposes the two after she found a love letter Eun-Seo had written to Joon-Seo. The two decide to stay together, but are soon forced apart again because their parents are against the union, and Yoo-Mi hurts herself and threatens suicide to hang onto Joon-Seo.
As a fight between Joon-Seo and Tae-Seok grows over their professed love for Eun-Seo, she discovers she has leukemia (the same illness that took her biological father's life). She didn't tell anyone except Tae-Seok, who offers to pay for her treatment. When she takes a turn for the worse, the others start finding out. When it was clear that there was no hope, Joon-Seo finds out and takes her home so she can spend her last days with him. At this point, Yoo-Mi finally leaves him. Eun-Seo dies as Joon-Seo was carrying her around the beach where they spent her birthday as teenagers.

Before Eun-Seo died, she told Joon-Seo not to follow her in death, and to continue living. However, Joon-Seo, dazed and grief-stricken by the death of his lover and "sister", is struck by a truck in the same place as Eun-Seo's accident and presumably dies.
